I’m Richard — an art director with over a decade of experience bringing beauty and stories to life for brides, fashion houses, and some of the world’s most celebrated events.

I was born in the Philippines, raised abroad, and recently moved back to reconnect with my roots, my culture, and the people who share them. My career began in retail, both fashion and beauty, but over the years I’ve happily dabbled in everything — from makeup artistry to photography, videography, content creation, and hair styling. I love being hands-on through the full creative process, shaping a vision from the very first spark to the final detail.

Before returning home, I served as Head of Pro-Artistry and Development for Charlotte Tilbury North America. In this role, I led a team of artists, designed and delivered advanced artistry curriculums, and produced, directed, and edited digital content for education platforms, social media, and product detail pages (PDPs). I worked closely with leaders in marketing, product development, and commercial sales — shaping launch strategies, forecasting hero products, and presenting to major retailer merchants.

My work has taken me from backstage at New York Fashion Week to red-carpet moments at the Met Gala, Oscars, and The King’s Trust, as well as providing artistry for world leaders and distinguished guests at official state and diplomatic events. I’ve had the privilege of working with high-profile clients, celebrities, and countless brides — each with their own unique story, style, and vision.

I’m easygoing by nature but decisive when it matters, and I bring that balance to everything I do. Whether I’m on set, behind the camera, styling hair, directing a shoot, or testing a new creative outlet, I approach it with curiosity, focus, and a sense of fun. I love exploring new places and challenges — from snowboarding and golf to volleyball — because each adventure gives me fresh ways to see color, movement, and texture in my work. Inspiration finds me everywhere: in a flash of unexpected color, the rhythm of footsteps on pavement, or the imperfections that make something beautiful.

Now back in the Philippines, I’m blending my global experience with the beauty, style, and traditions of home — continuing to create, capture, and tell stories that reflect the heart of the people in them.
